Wan Chay Gou is one of the restaurant that we often patronise when we are back in JB and lazy to cook for dinner....because it is near my in-laws house and the food is generally not bad, with reasonable price too.
Sorry, i misplaced the receipt so won't be able to share the price of the food. But this meal cost less than RM 150 for 4 adults and 2 children so it is quite reasonable.
1. Yam ring with chicken...
Yummy yam ring fried to crisp and filled with stir fry chicken with vegetable and top with cashew...
2. Yam braised with pork..
Also one of their signature dish. hubby and in-law love it, not to my liking.
3. Stir fry sambal kang kung
Nicely done..
4. Steamed fish with "cai pu"
Love the salty cai pu complements well with the fish. Very tasty!
4. Roast duck
A bit too dry... not nice!
