Cook: A lazy mum mini pasta stars

Difficulty: 2/5

Mini Pasta Stars
Whipped up some mini pasta stars last week for my kiddos. I was quite lazy so decided to make the sauce using a quick way- Campbell mushroom soup plus whipping cream... Of course making the sauce from scratch will be ideal and healthier but i just wanted to make a quick lunch so decided to go for the shortcut. End results is good, love the taste and it is creamy too, and my son loves it, can't stop eating and finish almost all the pasta :)

For dinner, i substitute the mini pasta stars with normal spiral pasta, increase the amount of mushroom soup and whipping cream , and it is adult pasta recipe :)

INGREDIENTS:
(serves one 3 years old and one 20 months old)

1. 5 tablespoon of mini pasta stars
2. 3 tablespoon of Campbell mushroom seafood soup
3. 100ml whipping cream
4. 1/4 medium carrot, shredded
5. 1 mini potato , diced
6. A handful of bite size broccoli
7. one tablespoon of butter

METHODS:

1. Boil mini pasta stars in boiling salt water until the pasta is cooked.
2. Drain the water and let the pasta run under cold running water for a minute to stop the cooking process. This will prevent pasta from being too cooked. Set aside.

3. In a heated pan, melt the butter.
4. Stir fry potato until soft, then add carrot and broccoli. Stir fry until almost cooked.
5. Add the mushroom soup and whipping cream.
6. Stir well.
7. Add cooked pasta and mix well.
8. Serve hot.
